It takes a lot for me to comment on a particular fashion collection. However, Acne resort is just so right I can't resist. Colour block me, give me one of those fierce leather hats and life would be just sweet.

My next purchase is a set of Stella McCartney lingerie for every day of the week. I probably won't even need to leave the apartment. Just hang out in it morning, noon and night. Who said you can't have fun Monday-Friday?
MELBOURNE
If Sydney had a genetically cooler sibling, Melbourne would be it. All dark and mysterious, lulling you in with an aura that it knows something you don’t. And it does. The cafes, the bars, the galleries--it’s a breed of leisure the state of New South Wales just doesn’t do as well. I’m ashamed to admit last week was my first real trip to Melbourne where I consumed as much culture south of the border as I could.
In our whirlwind trip we spent hours at the Lost & Found Market (where we imagined what our places would look like if we could visit there every week for knick-knacks and furniture), ate amazing food everywhere from Movida to Cumulus, rode bikes to Collingwood and Fitzroy, saw exhibitions from the likes of Misha Hollenbach and Berlin duo TONK, and consumed a few too many wines at Hell’s Kitchen and stunning wine bar Von Haus.
Lounging in my hotel room reading zines by talented Melbournians, I definitely had an interstate epiphany. It’s official; I’ve been won over. Like the maze print paper lining the lift at Curtin House, Melbourne is a never-ending adventure. It’s way of life is certainly parallel to Sydney in some respect, but as a city writes it’s own cultural language. Thanks for having us Melbourne, we’ll be back soon to love you some more.

I can't believe I haven't ranted on about this place already! This is definitely in my top 5 Sydney food-loves. And i have friends from out of town that make sure to grab a giant chicken schnitzel sambo with all the trimmings whenever they come here. It is pretty much sandwich bliss.
Tucked away in a back alley in Surry Hills this little gem is run by a bit of a 'sandwich natzi'. I will happily smile my biggest and brightest smile to recieve a sandwich or amazing salad no matter what mood 'old mate' is in. The poached chicken salad is a favourite. It is freshly made while you wait, freshly chopped tomatoes, basil, beans, rocket and beetroot are tossed together in a frenzy. Then layers of delicious house made delights are plopped on top like dill potato salad, mushy pumpkin vegetables and celeriac coleslaw! HEAVEN!
They also offer 'happy hour' which is a sandwich-for-a-steal at only $3.50 between 10-11am sharp.

One cabin in the forest please. Preferably like the below designed by William O'Brien Junior. The A-frame holiday home is small but has just enough space for rare artifacts, books and wines.

At the moment we are completely lusting over the above. Imported Danish Adler fedoras from Assembly (and the men would hopefully come with them), a pair of Robert Clergeries perfect with little grey socks and chinos, and a huge hermes scarf to wrap around our necks when the weather cools.
ROCKPOOL BAR AND GRILL
Neil Perry's Rockpool Bar and Grill certainly doesn't need the publicity, however I feel it should definitely be noted for the experience. The unusual art deco style of the restaurant is a perfect contrast to the surrounding bustle of the city. Escape among the marble and chandeliers of thousands of riedel glasses for a few lunch time Italian Sours and a filling feast. Not being a big beef eater I felt the mains were slightly limited, however there are plenty of seafood options to combine from cold sashimi to classic lobster thermidor (but beware of the $160 price tag). THE RUSTY KNOT
Although most of my nights in New York I attempted to milk a sugar daddy at fancy shmancy bars across Manhattan, one of the most enjoyable evenings I had was sipping on a Dark & Stormy at The Rusty Knot. The West Village haunt did everything right - especially restoring my faith in simple drinks that taste so damn good. All you need is some dark rum, ginger beer, a wedge of lime and ahoy you go.
MARINA ABRAMOVIC
While for years I had read about and studied Marina Abramovic's impressive performance art pieces, it wasn't until today when I saw them in the flesh at the MoMA that they really truly moved me. The fifty works spanning over four decades demonstrate the ways in which she has pioneered the dialogue between the artist's energy field and the audience, and are nothing short of amazing. Definitely worth flying to New York to see.

APARTMENT THERAPY
Having just found a lovely new place to nest, the main thing on my mind is how i will decorate. It is sure to be a challenge. My new apartment isn't exactly spacious. It has 'cute' going for it and it's Art Deco-ness gives me something to work with.
Though I'm not exactly the richest of humans and i don't see the point in spending your whole paycheck on rent when there are plenty more exiting things to blow your clams on. Besides, I need to complete my 'Missoni Home' collection someday and those fluffy zig-zagged beach towels are winking at me every time I walk by the store.
So I have been researching SMALL homes in the hope of some inspiration. My friend who has also recently moved into a little place (theirs is much more spacious and modern than ours) put me onto Apartment Therapy website. It runs a yearly competition called 'Small Cool' and showcases some of the most functional and stylish homes I have seen yet.
